Devil's Gate and Rattlesnake Pass

Views of Devil's Gate (the top one is taken from Independence Rock).

Visible from Independence Rock is the rock formation known as Devil's Gate, where the Sweetwater River cuts a very narrow gorge through the rock. To the left of this gorge (looking from the east) is Rattlesnake Pass, where the wagons and carts passed around Devil's Gate (the gorge is too narrow to take wagons through).
